Li-SOCL2 Batteries (or Li-SO2Cl2 Batteries) + EDLC (Super Capacitor) Pack
Special Battery Pack uses the advantage of Li-SOCl2 or Li-SO2Cl2 Battery with
its high working voltage and capacity as well as the advantage of EDLC (Electric
Double Layer Capacitor, or Super Capacitor) with its high power capability. The
energy of Li-SOCl2 or Li-SO2Cl2 battery will be charged to EDLC and be used
for high pulse currents (generally 1~3A) without severe voltage drop.

Major Features:
- For long distance wireless communication via GPS or Wi-Fi system, the data
communication device requires high pulse currents within a short period of
time.
- Li-SOCl2 Battery + EDLC pack provides better safety, low self discharge,
long term storage & intermittent pulse discharge, wide temperature coverage
and low cost design compared to general spiral or wound structure batteries.
- Battery size shall be determined according to expected service life and
workin voltage.
- EDLC capacitance shall be determined with pulse depth, duration, cycles
and cut-off voltage.
